Frequently asked questions
Can I switch plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and we'll prorate any difference.
Is there a contract?
No. Monthly and annual billing are available, with no long-term contract. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
What about the 1.8% dues fee?
The 1.8% platform fee only applies when you use Stripe Connect for online dues collection. Combined with Stripe's processing fee (2.9% + $0.30), the total is about 5% per transaction. If your club tracks dues manually (cash, check, etc.), there is no fee on any plan. The Extra plan eliminates the platform fee entirely, so you only pay Stripe's processing fee.
Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No. The Starter plan is completely free and does not require a credit card to sign up.
Will callsign lookup and operator profiles stay free?
Yes. Callsign lookup, On the Air, operator profiles, and club directory browsing are free for every licensed amateur, and we intend to keep them that way. Club subscriptions are how we generate revenue, which lets us provide individual tools at no cost to the community.
What happens if I exceed my member limit?
We'll notify you and give you 30 days to upgrade to a plan that fits your club's size. We won't remove members or lock your account without warning.
