Can I claim any callsign?
You can claim an active individual callsign from the FCC ULS database. A separate vouch or administrative review verifies that the account belongs to the licensee.
What if my callsign is already claimed?
If someone else has already claimed your callsign, contact support@groundwavehq.com and we will help resolve it. Groundwave checks the FCC record and reviews identity evidence before marking a claim verified.
Is my information public?
Your FCC data (name, city, state, license class) is already public record. Any additional profile details you add, such as your bio, equipment, and bands, are visible on your public profile page.
Can I edit my profile later?
Yes. You can update your bio, avatar, equipment list, favorite bands and modes, and website link at any time from your account settings.
