Club Management

Run fair, transparent club elections online

Four voting methods, dues-current enforcement, and real-time tallying. Give every eligible member a voice, even if they can't make the meeting.

Four Voting Methods

The right method for every type of vote. Pick the one that fits the decision your club needs to make.

  • Simple majority: requires more than 50% approval. Ideal for motions and standard business.
  • Supermajority: requires two-thirds agreement. Used for bylaw changes and other weighty decisions.
  • Plurality: members pick one candidate. The candidate with the most votes wins.
  • Ranked choice (IRV): eliminates the lowest candidate each round and redistributes votes until someone wins a majority.

More Than Officer Elections

Not just for picking a president. Use it for any decision the club needs to make collectively.

Voter Eligibility, Automatically Enforced

Only members with current dues can cast a ballot, ensuring fair representation in every vote. No more debates about who is eligible.

  • Automatically checks each voter's dues status before accepting their ballot
  • Configurable per election: require dues-current, or allow all members to vote
  • Integrates with Groundwave's built-in dues tracking, so there is nothing extra to configure

Follows Robert's Rules of Order

Groundwave's election defaults follow the conventions most clubs already use. Officer elections use secret ballots by default, so voters can choose freely without pressure. Motions and general business use public voice votes, so the record reflects each member's position. You can override these defaults for any individual election if your club's bylaws require something different.
